Let the Basalt Books presses roll!

Friends, on August 15, the presses will roll at Washington State University Press in Pullman, WA. I'll be there to watch as the first copies of the book “Cashup Davis: The Inspiring Life of a Secret Mentor” begin rolling off the press – literally.

My editor Linda Bathgate tells me the books are shipping immediately to those who have pre-purchased their copies and to bookstores everywhere.

My author friends tell me what a thrill it is to hold your book for the first time. In my career as a TV News investigative reporter, I’ve watched my stories air and have real impact. But I’ve never had the pleasure to hold the book in my hands. It'll be everything I’ve been told. It will even smell good. And the hardcover version has a superb, premium quality in the cover and the pages.

So, if you’ve already purchased your copy, I can report that it’s on its way to you as we speak.

Let me know what you think of it.
